Laura Millross - Industry Lead

Long-term veterinary industry professional and entrepreneur, Laura has extensive experience working in both the UK and New Zealand as a sales manager in both companion animal and equine fields.

Laura is a graduate of The Royal Veterinary College, London and has seen first hand the wellbeing issues faced by many members of the profession today - some of which are her friends.

Having had her own struggles, Laura is passionate about mental health and wellbeing. She brings her industry knowledge and experience to the team, ensuring Kite Veterinary is an exceptional resource for her peers.

Joleen Little MRCVS

Joleen started her professional life as a Veterinary Surgeon almost 20 years ago in a large rural mixed practice in Northern Ireland and has also spent time working in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Family life soon dictated a 'proper job' working as a Small Animal Vet in Belfast, which she continued to do up until 2020, when she transitioned to working in recruitment, bringing with her inside knowledge of the Veterinary Industry and an empathy for the day-to-day pressures of practice life. 

Alongside her work, Joleen has a passion for sport and played Rugby for Ireland gaining half a dozen caps. This experience shaped her career by giving her a tenacious and disciplined mindset to never give up and follow her dreams. 

Joleen became a Kite Veterinary ambassador in 2021 and is an advocate for mental health in the industry. She helps to take care of our customers in Ireland, as well as being a busy Mum of

Hannah Hardy-Jones - CEO The Kite Program

Hannah has an extensive background in HR, specialising in leadership development and employee relations.

After launching Kite for Mums at the start of 2019, she quickly realised there was a need for a practical and effective solution for businesses to assist their staff with their wellbeing, training and leadership skills.

She has since surrounded herself with a team of experts to launch and distribute Kite for Business, partnering with professionals to co-create the Kite industry apps. Hannah has a team of 20 consultants working with her across Latin America, USA, UK/Ireland, Europe, Australia and NZ.

Hannah speaks openly about her mental health, and has been featured in Forbes, appeared on TV1 Seven Sharp and TV3 The Project, the front page of The Press- as well as numerous magazines, radio, articles and podcasts. She is an active mental health advocate- with a passion for maternal and paternal mental health in particular.
